Shareholder background
Lampe Asset Management GmbH is a company of Bankhaus Lampe KG.
As a part of the Oetker Group, it is part of the Bankhaus Lampe’s definition to think and act in terms of generations, as a bank run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. The bank is able to look back on decades of tradition and experience in personal asset management, especially for medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs. We offer this clientele a comprehensive, holistic and long-term concept.
The independent nature of the advice we offer is one of the major factors of our success. This has been confirmed recently by the summa cum laude award, received for the fifth consecutive time by Elite Report (published by the newspapers Die Welt / Welt am Sonntag). This year, a total of 344 banks and asset managers throughout German-speaking countries, were analysed and evaluated by the editors of the Elite Report. Only 18 institutes were awarded the top score summa cum laude.
Founded in 1852 in Northern-Westphalia, Bankhaus Lampe is one of the leading independent, owner-run private banks in Germany- one of only very few. While the bank is legally based in Bielefeld, its three managing partners, Prof. Stephan Schüller, Peter Ebertz and Ulrich Cosse, are based in Düsseldorf. Bankhaus Lampe has branches and subsidiaries in Berlin, Bielefeld, Bonn, Bremen, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich, Münster, Osnabrück and Stuttgart.
